Quick answer: compare the inputs first
Different calculator results do not automatically mean the arithmetic is wrong. First align net wall area, installed brick dimensions, joint thickness, wall leaves, waste and full-pack rounding. Then compare the same job scope. This guide is independent and is not endorsed by the named businesses.
Cashbuild brick calculator and maxi-brick searches
For an estimate related to a Cashbuild purchase, obtain the exact item’s dimensions, coverage, pack quantity and branch quote. A maxi label is not enough to fix the face height. The 99tools calculator accepts those values but does not connect to a Cashbuild basket, stock system or price list.
Build it brick calculator: opening assumptions
Build it’s brick calculator uses wall height and length and offers counts of standard doors and two window sizes. Its displayed opening assumptions are 1.9 m² per door, 3.24 m² per large window and 1 m² per small window. If your openings differ, measure them. In 99tools, enter their combined actual area rather than those fixed categories.
BUCO brick calculator: match the stated dimensions
BUCO’s brick-and-mortar page displays a standard unit of 220 × 105 × 72 mm in length × width × height order. That is not the same face as a 222 × 73 mm example. Use the exact product dimensions for the order being compared rather than treating every standard-brick label as identical.
Cem Brick calculator: use the chosen product
Cem Brick’s Flat Maxi product lists a 288 mm length, 140 mm width and 88 mm height. Its listed coverage is 33 units/m², dependent on gauge, and the listed pallet contains 200 units. Use the supplier coverage method when adopting that declared coverage. Confirm the current product and pallet details before ordering; do not apply them to every product sold as maxi.
Why two honest totals can still differ
One estimate can include waste while another excludes it. One can show required pieces while another rounds to complete pallets. A double-leaf estimate cannot be compared with a single leaf. Mortar rates, plaster faces and included delivery can also differ. Keep quantity comparison separate from the current price quotation.
Use your supplier information in 99tools
Choose the main brick, maxi or block calculator. Add your measured walls and openings. Select actual dimensions or supplier coverage, then enter waste and pack quantity. For a budget, move to the wall calculator and enter your own quotes. None of these pages claims to be an official retailer tool.

Frequently asked questions
Is 99tools the Cashbuild brick calculator?
No. It is an independent tool that accepts specifications from your chosen supplier.
Can I use a Build it or BUCO quote here?
Yes. Transfer the actual product dimensions, measured openings, coverage and current quote rates. Check the included work and VAT basis.
Why does a Cem Brick estimate use a different rate?
Product dimensions, laying gauge and supplier rounding can differ. Use the declared rate only for the product and installation it describes.
